24/03/2010 (Agence Europe) - On Wednesday 24 March, the European Commission authorised the draft acquisition by La Plastal GmbH, a German manufacturer of car parts and plastic materials, by Faurecia SA, a subsidiary of Peugeot, which also manufactures components for the automobile industry. Following its examination, the Commission reached the conclusion that the operation would not significantly impact on competition in the European Economic Area or any substantial part of it. (O.L.)
