Reding wants fundamental rights to be central to European politics

Brussels, 22/03/2010 (Agence Europe) - The European commissioner for justice, fundamental rights and citizenship, Viviane Reding, hopes to include the fundamental rights in all of the politics of the European Union. "The charter [of fundamental rights] must become the compass for all EU politics", she stated on Thursday 18 March, at a meeting organised by the European Policy Centre (EPC), in Brussels.
