20/01/2010 (Agence Europe) - The European Small Business Alliance (ESBA) is urging the Council of the EU and European Parliament to respect the commitment to reduce administrative charges by 25% at a European level by way of the swift adoption of the controversial draft directive to exempt micro-companies from the field of application of the 4th accounting directive (EUROPE 9984). In a press release, the organisation declared that “despite being spurred by a fast track procedure, the proposal currently lies idle with a sluggish Council and European Parliament”. (M.B./transl.fl)
