13/01/2010 (Agence Europe) - The English version of the article on Herman Van Rompuy and his future relations with the European Parliament in our newsletter of 9 January (EUROPE 10052) contained a translation error. It should have read: “Unlike the Commission and its president, the European Council president is NOT accountable to the European Parliament”. We apologise.
