Brussels, 15/12/2009 (Agence Europe) - The third chamber of the European Court of Justice made a decision on Tuesday 15 December on case T-156/04 pitting the electricity producer and distributor Electricité de France (EDF), supported by France, against the European Commission, supported by the Spanish company Iberdrola S.A. The court decided to quash the decision by the Commission, which demanded repayment to the French state of a tax advantage EDF was granted in1997.
