14/12/2009 (Agence Europe) - According to estimates released by Eurostat on Monday 14 December, seasonally adjusted industrial production fell by 0.6% in the euro area and by 0.7% in the EU27 in October 2009 compared with September 2009. In September, production increased by 0.2% and 0.1% respectively. In October 2009, compared with October 2008, industrial production declined by 11.1% in the euro area and by 10.2% in the EU27.
