Agreement in sight for 20 November within Council on latest raft of measures to help dairy farmers

Brussels, 13/11/2009 (Agence Europe) - Agriculture ministers of the EU member states are expected during their next meeting on Friday 20 November in Brussels to adopt the regulation containing the latest series of measures intended to help dairy farmers and milk products. They may thus endorse the acts needed for the payment of €280 million in emergency aid granted by the European Commission for the dairy sector, if possible in early 2010.
