10/11/2009 (Agence Europe) - The European Centre for Disease Prevention and Control (ECDC) is to hold its second course on “Introduction to Intervention Epidemiology” in Veyrier du Lac, Haute-Savoie (France) on 15 February to 5 March 2010. The course will cover surveillance (principles, design, evaluation, analysis), outbreak investigation (plan, design, data collection, validation and analysis), survey (questionnaire and sampling techniques), analytical epidemiology (concepts, designs, analysis, multivariate analysis, alternative designs), and communication (visual aids, oral presentation, outline of manuscript and critical review).
