Brussels, 04/11/2009 (Agence Europe) - Whilst it did not result in a formal and specific offer on the part of the United States for international climate negotiations, the EU/United States Summit, which was held in Washington on Tuesday 3 November, allowed the two sides to clarify their joint view of what should be the political framework to be agreed upon in Copenhagen (COP 15, 7-18 December) to step up the world fight against global warming post-2012.
