29/10/2009 (Agence Europe) - On Thursday 29 October 2009, the European Commission decided to send Portugal to the European Court of Justice for improper transposition of the Eurovignette directive that sets rules on toll charges for heavy goods vehicles weighing more than 3.5 tonnes using toll roads. The deadline for Member States to bring the new rules into force was 10 June 2008. (A.By.)
