Following review, European Commission maintains safeguard measures on steel and aluminium until 2024

27/06/23 (Agence Europe) – In an implementing regulation published on Tuesday 27 June, the European Commission has decided to maintain its safeguard measures on steel and aluminium, following a review. It extended the tariff quotas on these products for three years in 2021 (see EUROPE B12750A25) but was still due to assess the need for the measure in June 2023.
