MEPs greenlight European Parliament-EU Council agreement on EU crypto-asset framework

11/10/2022 (Agence Europe) – On Monday, 10 October, MEPs on the Committee on Economic and Monetary Affairs approved—with 28 votes in favour and 1 against—the provisional political agreement with the EU Council on the proposed ‘MiCA’ regulation establishing a framework for the European crypto-asset market, an agreement that had been reached in June (see EUROPE B12984A3).
