Transfer of cohesion funds worries MEPs and Committee of the Regions

11/10/2022 (Agence Europe) – As part of the European Week of Regions and Cities (see EUROPE B13039A9), MEPs from the European Parliament’s Committee on Regional Development (REGI) and representatives of the European Committee of the Regions (CoR) addressed the European Commissioner for Cohesion Policy, Elisa Ferreira, on Tuesday 11 October. Once again, they insisted on the need for cohesion policy to remain long-term in outlook and expressed concerns about the possibility of these funds...
