Energy dependency and greenhouse gases, Greenpeace calls on EU to rapidly propose reforms in transport sector

Targeted reforms in the transport sector could reduce the oil consumption of EU vehicles by 13%. At least that is what Greenpeace Central and Eastern Europe is suggesting, publishing a study on Wednesday 12 October in which the NGO estimates that such reforms could also save Europeans €63 billion a year on their bills.
