26/06/2009 (Agence Europe) - Under the regulatory procedure with oversight, foreseen in Directive 2005/32/EC setting a framework for the setting of green design requirements for consumer energy-using products, the Council of Ministers decided on Thursday 25 June 2009 not to oppose the adoption by the European Commission of two regulations implementing the above directive, setting out requirements for electrical motors and requirements for autonomous circulators and integrated circulators. Now it has the Council's green light, the Commission will be able to adopt the regulation, as long as the European Parliament does not raise any objections. (E.H./transl.fl)
