20/08/2007 (Agence Europe) - A mistake appeared in article 14 of EUROPE 9477 (involving the new emergency compensation procedure proposed by the Court). Current accelerated procedure is detrimental to other pending cases and not the new procedure as we had indicated. Together with existing modalities, the recent addition of the new procedure will in fact quite rightly seek to reduce the length of time in which cases are processed. It will apply to subjects included under section VI of the EU treaty, as well as section IV of the third part of the EU treaty (justice, freedom and security and will notably be focusing on the granting of visas and asylum).
