30/01/2014 (Agence Europe) - Mergers: Mitsui/ArcelorMittal Gonvarri Brasil Produtos Siderurgicos/M Steel Indústria e Comércio de Produtos Siderúrgicos. On 29 January 2014, the European Commission gave the go-ahead to the acquisition of joint control over M Steel Indústria e Comércio de Produtos Siderúrgicos Ltda (Brazil) by Mitsui & Co. Ltd. of Japan and ArcelorMittal Gonvarri Brasil Produtos Siderúrgicos S.A. (“AMG”) of Brazil. Mitsui and AMG operate in the steel sector. The target company manufactures, stores and distributes various processed steel products. (OL/transl.fl)
