A delegation of the committee on civil liberties of the European Parliament will visit Vilnius (Lithuania) this Wednesday, as part of its work on the secret CIA prison sites in Europe. Here, the MEPs will meet members of the government and parliament. These visits to the country will feed into the report to be drafted on the subject by MEP Hélène Flautre (Greens/EFA, France), which is due to be presented in September. A further report on these allegations of secret CIA prisons in Europe will also be drafted by British MEP Sarah Ludford (ALDE), according to a press release.
