Brussels, 31/05/2001 (Agence Europe) - The European Parliament, approving with very few amendments in a vote of 338 to 98, with 59 abstentions, the report by Inigo Mendez de Vigo (Partido popular, E) and Antonio José Seguro (Socialist, P), issued a two-phase opinion on the Treaty of Nice, an opinion linked to the results of the Laeken Summit.
