Agenda of constitutive session of new Parliament

Brussels, 09/07/2009 (Agence Europe) - The new European Parliament elected in June 2009 will meet for the first time on Tuesday 14 July, in Strasbourg. The first day will be devoted to the various ballots required for electing the president and vice-presidents. On Wednesday, the first debates will be on the results of the June European Council and the Czech Presidency (from 9.00am to 10.15am) and on the programme of the Swedish EU Presidency (10.15am to 12.30pm).
