05/06/2009 (Agence Europe) - In a press release diffused on Thursday 4 June, EU High Representative for CFSP Javier Solana states he is deeply shocked by the murder of the British hostage, Edwin Dyer, in Mali. He condemns this “despicable act” perpetrated by a local Al-Qaeda cell and calls for the immediate release of a Swiss national held hostage by the same group. (O.J./transl.jl)
