06/05/2009 (Agence Europe) - By a vote of 626 to 29, with 5 abstentions, on Wednesday 6 May, the European Parliament renewed its organisation in parliamentary committees (without any major changes). With the adoption of the Greens/EFA amendment, Parliament stated that the European Chemical Products Agency falls within the area of responsibility of the environment committee. (O.J./transl.rt)
