30/04/2009 (Agence Europe) - On Wednesday 29 April, the Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe adopted a resolution in which it calls on the Committee of Ministers to re-examine its draft list of candidates for the post of secretary general (EUROPE 9890). It hopes to be able to choose among the four candidates already put forward, and calls on member states to envisage presenting a female candidate in the future.
