Four member states taken to task for failing to act on blind spot mirrors on lorries

Brussels, 23/03/2009 (Agence Europe) - On Thursday 19 March the European Commission sent reasoned opinions to Cyprus, Luxembourg, Poland and the United Kingdom for failing to transpose existing European legislation on retro-fitting blind spot mirrors within the time allowed. The four member states have two months to act if they want to avoid being taken to the European Court of Justice.

Cyprus, Luxembourg, Poland and the United Kingdom have not informed the Commission on the transposition...
