23/03/2009 (Agence Europe) - The European Union is to deploy from Monday 23 March an electoral monitoring mission in Ecuador on the occasion of the legislative elections to be held there on Sunday 26 April. The legislative ballot will allow a new president to be elected, as well as the national assembly and representatives of the Ecuadorian territorial authorities.
