20/03/2009 (Agence Europe) - On Friday 20 March, the European Council reaffirmed the strategic importance of transatlantic relations. It considers that, during the informal summit of 5 April in Prague, discussions should notably concern energy security, climate change and the strategic approach to be adopted towards the region located between the Mediterranean and the Caspian seas.
