03/03/2009 (Agence Europe) - On Tuesday 3 March, the European Commission authorised the proposed concentration by which the undertaking Alcoa Inc. (USA) acquires the whole of the undertaking Elem Aluminium ANS (Norway) by way of a purchase of shares. Alcoa and Elkem produce, sell and market primary aluminium. (O.L./transl.rh)
