23/02/2009 (Agence Europe) - With the proliferation of regional trade agreements (RTAs) throughout the world over the last two decades, the WTO, last week, published a collection entitled “Multilateralizing Regionalism: Challenges for the Global Trading System”, which, working from the speeches of those who took part in a conference on this issue in Geneva on 10-12 September 2007, reflects on the how best to globalise the advantages of regional liberalisation.
