18/02/2009 (Agence Europe) - On Tuesday 177 February, the European Investment Bank (EIB) announced a €400 million loan to Volkswagen AG. The loan forms part of a financing programme to foster investment in research, development and innovation designed to reduce emissions and improve energy efficiency in the European transport sector.
