Brussels, 27/01/2009 (Agence Europe) - Under the impetus of Germany, Denmark and Spain, the International Renewable Energy Agency (IRENA) was finally born in Bonn on Monday 26 January with the signing of its founding treaty by over 75 countries, including most of the EU member states and also France which hesitated until the very last moment.
