06/01/2009 (Agence Europe) - The European Investment Bank (EIB) will hold its Forum 2009 in Barcelona on 12-13 March. This year, the event will focus on the issues of sustainable mobility and cities in Europe. In a press release, the EIB says that developing Europe's infrastructure platform and its major cities must go hand in hand so that all the regions of the EU can benefit from improved “connectivity”, and all cities can be more accessible for mobile populations and investment. The EIB Forum 2009 will bring together over 1,000 representatives of governments and political circles, the business world, the banking sector and the media.
