22/10/2008 (Agence Europe) - On Tuesday 21 October, the European Commission approved a €42 million investment by the municipality of Rotterdam in the Ahoy complex. The Commission believes that the initiative to renovate and develop the sports palace complex does not constitute state aid as the agreement for the sale and lease transactions were concluded at market rates.
