25/08/2008 (Agence Europe) - A second referendum on the Lisbon Treaty “could be necessary” after the no-vote to the text on 12 June, said Irelands' Secretary of State for European Affairs, Dick Roche, in an interview with the Irish Independent, on Monday 25 August. “My personal view is that a referendum is the appropriate response to the position we are in”, he said.
