25/07/2008 (Agence Europe) - On 24 July, the Council adopted a common stance repealing the restrictive measures (freeze of assets) that the EU had brought in on 3 March 2008 against the Anjouan government in the Union of the Comoros. This was the EU27's reaction to the reestablishment, on 25 March this year, of the Comoros authority on the island of Anjouan. (H.B./transl.jl)
