Events at Royal Institute for European Studies in Saragossa

Brussels, 10/07/2008 (Agence Europe) - The Royal Institute for European Studies in Saragossa, Spain, is organising from 14-18 July a series of conferences on the challenges facing Europe and will launch the first course on the international, European and diplomatic public function. Intended for the international, European and national institutions, the training will be presented at an inaugural session on Monday 14 July at the Palais des Congrès in Jaca by a panel of guests, including the main administrator of the European Personnel Selection Office (EPSO), Fransisco Javier Montero, and a former judge at the European Court of Human Rights, Javier Borrego. The Jaca European Academy will, moreover, host discussions during the week, mainly on the Lisbon Treaty and food safety/security. Taking a leading part in the discussions will be personalities such as Jaime Mayor, MEP (EPP-ED, Spain), and Diego López Garrido, Spanish Secretary of State for European Affairs.
