30/06/2008 (Agence Europe) - The EU and the United States signed, on Monday 30 June, a cooperation agreement in the field of civil aviation security regulation. The agreement, which was negotiated by the European Commission on the basis of the Council mandate of March 2004, establishes mutual acceptance of technical certificates of conformity issued by the aeronautics authorities as well as by EU and US technical agents.
