13/03/2008 (Agence Europe) - The plenary session of the European Parliament on Tuesday 11 March gave very strong approval (585 votes for to 11 against, with no abstentions) to the conclusion of an agreement between the EU and the Arab Emirates on civil aviation issues. This horizontal agreement was signed on 4 December 2007 (see EUROPE 9558).
