DG Competition carries out surprise inspection on central processing unit manufacturer

Brussels, 12/02/2008 (Agence Europe) - On Tuesday 12 February 2008, the European Commission confirmed having carried out surprise inspections on a manufacturer of central processing units (CPU) and several personal computer retailers, suspected of having violated EC Treaty rules governing anti-competitive behaviour.
