24/01/2008 (Agence Europe) - On Monday 28 January the SSIF collective, the Committee of the Regions (CoR) and the European Economic and Social Committee (EESC) are organising a conference on, “Social Services of General Interest and Revision of the Internal Market - the New Dimension in the Amending Treaty.” Discussions will focus on the report elaborated by the SSIF collective and co-published by the CoR and the EESC. This will involve the relaunch of the Community debate on SSIG on new foundations in the political perspective of the Spring summit and the French presidency of the EU. Participants will include: Michel Delebarre, CoR president, Dimitris Dimitriadis, president of the EESC, rapporteurs Joel Hasse Ferreira (EP), Raymond Hencks (EESC) and Jean-Louis Destans (CoR).
