Brussels, 23/08/2007 (Agence Europe) - In a press statement on 23 August 2007, the European Commission confirmed that it had sent Rambus, a US registered company suspected of abuse of dominant position in breach of Article 82 of the EC treaty, a Statement of Objections. The firm is accused of having hidden certain patents it owned in order to be able to increase the costs for using its technology.
