09/07/2007 (Agence Europe) - The European Investment Bank (EIB) has just granted a loan of €40 million to Telekom Slovenije, the public telecommunications operator in Slovenia. This is the first payment of the loan of €100 million approved by the Bank to fund improvements to the fixed line telecommunications network throughout the country. The second part of the loan (€60 million) will be paid in the month of August. (ol)
