16/05/2007 (Agence Europe) - In a speech at the conference on the counterfeiting of medicines, which was held at the European Parliament on 14 May (EUROPE 9426), Commissioner Günter Verheugen stated that he had set up an inter-services working group to analyse how this trafficking works, and to develop a raft of tools to fight this phenomenon more effectively. He hopes to be able to present the first concrete results in 2008. (oj)
