Chrysler, a US subsidiary of the German company, DaimlerChrysler, announced on Wednesday that it planned to invest $1.78 billion in new production sites in Michigan, the birthplace of the group, over the next few years. The car manufacturer above all plans to set up a new engine plant, which will produce a new V-6 series.
