19/04/2007 (Agence Europe) - The Council has approved the decision to appoint the Danish Ambassador, Torben Brylle, as the new European Representative to the Sudan. Brylle will take up his post on 1 May. He takes over from Pekka Haavisto from Finland, who has occupied this position since 18 July 2005. (oj)
