23/01/2007 (Agence Europe) - The European Commission has granted clearance under the EU Merger Regulation to the acquisition of sole control of Attendo Group AB (Attendo) of Sweden, by Industri Kapital of the Netherlands. Industri Kapital is a private investment firm. Attendo provides care services to elderly and disabled persons, children and young adolescents. The operation was examined under the simplified merger review procedure. (cd)
