23/01/2007 (Agence Europe) - On Monday 22 January, the EU Council of Ministers adopted, without debate, a decision setting out the European Community's position in favour of an extension, of six years at most, of the 2001 international agreement on coffee. This agreement is due to expire on 24 September 2004 and must, therefore, be extended. (lc)
