New global system for measuring truck and bus emissions

Brussels, 17/11/2006 (Agence Europe) - The United Nations Economic Commission for Europe (UNECE), responsible for harmonising standards at global level, gave the go-ahead on Thursday to new world systems (On-Board Diagnostic systems) to harmonise measurements of emissions from lorries (trucks) and buses.
