Brussels, 25/10/2006 (Agence Europe) - On Monday, the Council adopted a decision authorising the Commission to open negotiations with Berne to conclude a protocol on electricity to the agreement of 22 July 1972 between the Union and Switzerland, the object of these negotiations being to create an integrated electricity market between both parties, based on the legislative framework of internal energy market.
