ECONOMIC INTERPENETRATION / (eu) pharmaceuticals

The US group BARR ACTAVIS from Iceland are both seeking to take over the Croatian laboratory PLIVA. The two of them have put in improved offers, which are both very close, around €2.3 bn. ACTAVIS has already acquired a little over 20% of PLIVA's capital on the stock exchange.
