Presidents Borrell, Schüssel and Barroso assure democratic opposition of EU's support

Strasbourg, 05/04/2006 (Agence Europe) - On Thursday, Alexander Milinkevich, leader of the democratic opposition in Belarus, will take part in the meeting of the European Parliament's EPP-ED group, which invited him to Strasbourg. On Wednesday morning, Josep Borrell welcomed Mr Milinkevich, who was sitting in the gallery, and expressed the Parliament's admiration for his courage and perseverance.
